Saneeya Ghadially Kanga is an international, multi-medium artist.
Born in Karachi, Pakistan, Saneeya received a Bachelors of Fine Arts (BFA), with distinction, from the prestigious Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture in Karachi, where she also received the Zuhoor-Ul-Iqlak Award for best portfolio. She earned her Masters of Fine Arts (MFA) from the University of Cincinnati in the United States, with two graduate scholarship awards and the Judith Smith Koroscik Graduate Fellowship.
Saneeya has displayed her work in galleries, embassies, and ambassadorial residences around the world. She has also led courses at the undergraduate level in Karachi and Cincinnati, and has full teaching certification.
Married to a diplomat, Saneeya has traveled the world, and lived in six countries so far. Her work is greatly influenced by this constant change, and is a reflection of the environment she finds herself submersed in at the time.
Duality is a common thread in most of her work. Saneeya often explores dualities as expressions of the beauty in life that connects all of us.
